AESSEAL Employees holding the Strive Award

AESSEAL is delighted to have been singled out by ADM, one of the world's largest nutrition companies, for our contribution to their sustainability in their 2023 Supplier Recognition Day.

The company's US operation, AESSEAL Inc., won the 2023 Strive 35 - Sustainability Award as a result of continually sharing with ADM the commitment to sustainability/Net Zero and suggesting ways of making improvements in this area.

The nutrition company has 37,000 vendors, 500 of which have been deemed strategic, including AESSEAL.

Chris Rea, Managing Director of the AES Engineering Ltd group, which includes AESSEAL, said they were delighted to have been singled out for this award.

This award is a tribute to the leadership team of ADM who have put reliability and sustainability at the forefront of their drive to continue to be the world's leading nutrition business. Our colleagues in AESSEAL Inc. have worked tirelessly to support them at a plant level to achieve those corporate goals. I am extremely proud of our Inc. Team for doing the right thing for our customer, ADM.

AESSEAL worked on a communication plan with ADM, which led to regular calls with their Quarterly Business Review team, consisting of people from procurement, engineering, reliability, and operations.

Announcing the award, ADM highlighted AES Engineering’s £29 million ($40 million) investment in environmental projects by 2029 - including green initiatives for which there were no environmental credits - and the fact that the group had been accredited as Net Zero globally for 2021, which was 8 years earlier than planned.

Peter Rouleau from AESSEAL Inc., said:

Learning how to communicate at a higher-level within organizations is something that we continue to work to get better at it and with ADM the path to winning this award was basically doing the right things for sustainability, understanding the customer, and taking action in partnership.
