API 610 pump type OH6 utilize integral gears to increase speed driving a single stage impeller. This allows the pump to achieve the same discharge pressure as a multistage pump driven directly by a motor.
The vast majority of OH6 pumps are manufactured by the Sundyne™ corporation. These pumps are used in all market segments of the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industry and commonly found with a vertical shaft orientation.
