The Wave Spring group of seals are recognisable by a single wave spring or sinusoidal wave spring.
The benefit of the use of a wave spring is a more even face loading than a Parallel or Taper Spring and also smaller envelope requirement to achieve a similar face loading. The AESSEAL wave spring designs commonly has a click together design which allows a variety of face materials to be fitted without the requirement of fitting a drive pin after assembly. Wave spring seals are typically used in Food and Beverage applications.
