AESSEAL has retained its membership of the British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA).
The company has received a certificate of notification that it remains a member of the trade body until the end of June 2026.
As a measure of its commitment to the BPMA, AESSEAL is also sponsoring the Sustainable Contribution For A Better World category at The Pump Industry Awards 2026, which will take place at The Hilton in Burton upon Trent on March 19.
Membership of the association, which represents UK and Irish pump manufacturers, is available to manufacturers, contractors, distributors, importers, and repairers of industrial pumps, as well as suppliers to pump companies.
Benefits include industry recognition, networking opportunities, admission to events and forums for sharing knowledge and best practices, training and development resources including the Certified Pump System Auditor (CPSA) scheme, and access to industry insights, market intelligence, and potential cost savings on services.
In 2018 the BPMA awarded AESSEAL founder and managing director Chris Rea a lifetime achievement award for his outstanding contribution to the pump industry. Fellow professionals selected Chris for the honour in the prestigious Pump Industry Awards, citing his ‘significant and consistent contribution the pump industry’ over his career.
In 2023 AESSEAL came out top in the Contributions to Skills & Training, and Environmental Contribution of the Year sectors at the Pump Industry Awards, which were launched by the BPMA.
The association formed in 1941 with the mission of influencing the pump sector environment and aiding the competitiveness of its 100-plus membership.
Among its main aims is increasing sector awareness through the provision of technical support and independent pump technology training to manufacturers, distributors, operators and purchasers of pumping equipment.
